The Adelante Gala turns four this year. In three editions, LEDC's signature evening has become one of Omaha's most consequential civic convenings — a working room for small-business investment, workforce pathways, and youth leadership. The 2026 edition inaugurates a new civic venue.

Reported, Summer 2026.
On Thursday, September 3, 2026, the Latino Economic Development Council (LEDC) will host its signature evening at the new Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement in Omaha. Running from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., the gathering functions as a civic convening — more than 600 community leaders, business executives, public officials, and academic voices in one working room. The program pairs the philanthropic evening with a curated presentation of music, dance, and regional cuisine. It is Omaha's fourth edition, and its first in this venue.
The strategic stakes extend beyond a single evening. According to Stanford's State of Latino Entrepreneurship report, Latino-owned businesses grew by 44 percent between 2018 and 2023, even as the number of white-owned businesses experienced a slight decline. The Adelante Gala functions as a local mechanism for sustaining that trajectory: every dollar raised anchors LEDC's capacity to fund small-business incubation, youth leadership development, workforce pathways, and community capital projects — including the Plaza de la Raza.
Building on the record of last year's edition — chaired by honorary chairs Anayeli Martinez-Real and Ramon Gutierrez-Cardenas, and backed by a sponsor roster representing the region's leading corporate enterprises — the 2026 edition inaugurates the Tenaska Center as its new venue.
