Your name on the spine. You have a book in you. Most leaders do. What they lack is the time, and a team that knows how to carry a manuscript from conversation to publication.
Latino Professionals helps leaders write and publish books worth keeping: executive memoirs, field guides, the lessons of a career set down properly. Our editors conduct the interviews, shape the manuscript, and manage the publication. Your voice, your name, our craft.
What we publish
- The executive memoir. A life's work told the way we tell a cover story: through the decisions that formed it. For the leader whose career deserves a permanent record.
- The field guide. Your operating knowledge, organized so the next generation can use it. Management, fundraising, board service, building a practice.
- The institution book. The story of a company, a foundation, or an organization at a milestone: an anniversary, a succession, a legacy moment.
How it works
- The scoping conversation. You tell us the book you have in mind. We bring a proposal with scope, timeline, and fee.
- The Statement of Work. Every engagement is scoped to the book, with milestones paid 40/30/30 so the incentives stay aligned from first interview to final manuscript.
- The interviews. Recorded conversations with you, and with the colleagues, family, or partners whose voices the book needs.
- The manuscript. Our editors write and shape it in your voice. You review the full draft and return one consolidated round of notes.
- Publication. We manage the path to print and digital. On publication, a launch excerpt or Partner Feature in the magazine can be commissioned, labeled to our standard.
Who owns the book
You do. Upon final payment, all rights in the finished manuscript belong to you. Your name is on the cover, the copyright is yours, and the credit is yours to keep. We built the process so the craft is ours and the book is unmistakably you.
Questions authors ask
Is this ghostwriting?
It is collaborative authorship with your name on the work. Our editors interview, structure, and draft; every chapter is built from your recorded words and reviewed by you. The voice on the page is yours, sharpened.
How long does a book take?
It depends on the book, and the honest answer is set in the Statement of Work before we begin. Interview availability is usually the pace-setter.
What does it cost?
Every engagement is scoped and quoted by proposal, with milestones at 40/30/30. Write to us with the book you have in mind and we will bring the numbers.
Can the magazine cover my book when it launches?
A launch excerpt or Partner Feature can be commissioned alongside the engagement. It is labeled like every commissioned piece, and it never buys a place on any list.
An institution is measured by what it leaves standing. A book stands a long time.
Write to info@latinoprofessionals.com with the book you have in mind, and we will bring a proposal.
