Latino executives run divisions of the largest companies in America. They sit on the boards. They move the capital, close the deals, and build the institutions that will outlast them. What they have never had is a record: a single, serious accounting of who holds that power and how they use it.

In September 2027, Latino Professionals will publish the inaugural **Latino Professionals 5**: the definitive annual ranking of Latino power in American business.

**How the list is made.** The LP 5 is decided by our editors against published criteria: economic power, influence, philanthropy, and the harder things to measure, vision and the x factor. Five names, ranked. Operating roles only; the [**LP 5**](https://www.latinoprofessionalsmagazine.com/tag/lp-100/) honors the people doing the work now.

The lineup will change every year. That is the point. A ranking that never moves is a plaque. This one is a scorecard.

**Nominations are open.** Anyone may nominate: yourself, your executive, your colleague, the person whose name should be in this year's list. Send the name, the company, and one paragraph on why to [**awards@latinoprofessionalsmagazine.com**](mailto:awards@latinoprofessionalsmagazine.com). Our editors read every serious nomination.

The class of 2027 will be announced in December/January, honored in these pages, and [gathered in person](https://www.latinoprofessionalsmagazine.com/events/) before the year ends.

You have built a great deal, often without anyone keeping score. We are keeping it now.

To your success, to our success.
